Link three high-mountain days around Ordesa and Monte Perdido, with nineteen summits above 3,000 metres as the programme’s objective. Gabietos, Taillón, Marboré, Cilindro and Monte Perdido feature in a journey with nights at Sarradets and Góriz. This is a high-level traverse: prepare ascent experience, stamina for cumulative elevation changes and comfort with exposure; the guide confirms progression and objectives according to conditions and the group.
These are the proposed summits and their reference elevations. The traverse includes main and subsidiary summits; completing it depends on conditions and the group.
Previous ascents, experience of long days, comfort with exposed ground and fitness for accumulated ascent and descent are important. Ask about a preparatory outing with a guide if you need an assessment. The summit list is the programme’s objective, not a guarantee that all nineteen peaks can be completed in every situation.
Day one proposes a 06:00 meeting at the PirineoSur office, transfer towards Torla and the Gabietos and Taillón summits, followed by Sarradets hut. The second day links the Casco, Torre and Espalda de Marboré area, the Cascade peaks, Marboré, Tuquet and Cilindro, before a night at Góriz. The detailed itinerary identifies intermediate summits.
Day three proposes Punta de las Olas, Baudrimont, Soum de Ramond, Monte Perdido and Punta de las Escaleras, returning to Torla. Indicative starts for the final two days are at 06:00. Confirm access, hut reservations, route and final objectives when arranging the booking.
Three days with a high mountain sports technician, accommodation arrangements, collective equipment and required technical items from the list are included, with equipment needs agreed beforehand. Personal accommodation and meals, travel to the meeting point and the guide’s listed expenses are excluded. The indicative expense allowance is €90 per person; request an updated budget. Bring boots suitable for snow, clothing, headtorch, 45–50-litre backpack, food and water; discuss ice axe, crampons, helmet and harness before departure.
Nineteen main and subsidiary summits across three days. The elevations and route are detailed above and confirmed according to mountain conditions and the group.
Day one covers Gabietos and Taillón with a Sarradets night. Day two crosses the Marboré, Cascadas and Cilindro sector and sleeps at Góriz. Day three proposes Olas, Baudrimont, Soum de Ramond, Monte Perdido and Escaleras before Torla.
Previous ascents and long days, stamina for accumulated elevation change and comfort with exposure. Ask about a preparatory assessment outing if needed.
Bookings are arranged, but personal accommodation and meals, travel to the meeting and stated guide expenses are excluded. The €90 per-person estimate is indicative and should be updated for your budget.
Three days with a senior high-mountain sports professional, collective equipment and requested technical kit from the list. Prepare snow-appropriate boots, clothing, headtorch, 45–50-litre backpack, food and water.
June to September, for one to four people. The programme uses indicative 06:00 starts; confirm access, refuges, route and final times with the guide.
Read all the programme details and contact us if you are unsure whether your experience matches the route. The main challenge is sustained effort and accumulated ascent and descent, particularly on the way down. Altitude can increase fatigue, while wind and low temperatures add to the difficulty.
Previous mountain walking and summit experience are recommended. If you are new to this type of outing, the guide can assess your level or suggest a preparatory ascent.
Prepare with endurance exercise and mountain walks, carrying a loaded backpack and using the footwear and equipment you will take on the trip. Break in new boots beforehand. The route does not require technical rock-climbing skills, but you must be comfortable with heights and exposed passages.
