The design, organization, and execution of activities are carried out by Mirando al Sur, S.L. and its brand PirineoSur. Payment of the reservation implies acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions.
2.1 The prices of each activity will be those published on the websites www.mirandoalsur.es and www.pirineosur.es.
2.2 Prices include VAT (special travel agency regime) and everything specified in the “included” section of each activity description.
2.3 Scheduled activities are subject to reaching the minimum number of participants indicated for each activity. If this minimum is not reached, the price will be adjusted according to the number of participants. The participant may choose to attend by paying the corresponding price or receive a voucher for the amount paid, which can be used for another activity.
2.4 Prices do not include any expenses required to meet visa requirements or entry requirements for certain countries (medical insurance, special accident insurance, etc.).
3.1 Reservations are made strictly in order of payment of the deposit required for each activity.
3.2 If the reservation is made by phone, availability will be confirmed and a maximum of 48 hours will be given to complete the payment by bank transfer (BANCO SABADELL), indicating the activity and name.
3.3 For online bookings via the shop, availability is immediate and instructions must be followed as indicated in the confirmation email.
3.4 The remaining balance must be paid before the deadline set in each case. In all cases, the activity must be fully paid at least one month in advance. Otherwise, Mirando al Sur, S.L. may cancel unpaid bookings, with loss of any amounts previously paid.
3.5 In case of cancellation or modification by the user, the following penalties apply (the deposit is always non-refundable):
More than 2 months before: 100% refund
Between 2 months and 1 month: 50% refund
Less than 1 month: no refund
3.6 If there is a waiting list, unpaid reservations may be reassigned.
3.7 Minors must provide parental consent and a copy of the parent/guardian ID on the day of the activity.
3.8 If a cancellation or modification increases the cost for other participants, the difference will be deducted from any refund due.
3.9 The client is responsible for any equipment provided. In case of loss or damage, they must pay the replacement value. This also applies to shared equipment (ropes, cams, nuts, carabiners, etc.).
3.10 Ski lesson cancellation policy:
More than 7 days before: 100% refund minus €10 management fee
5–7 days before: 75% refund
3–4 days before: 50% refund
Less than 3 days: no refund
(All international activities and those not listed on the website are considered tailor-made)
4.1 The reservation deposit will be determined individually and is non-refundable in case of cancellation. Full payment must be completed at least one month before the activity. Failure to do so may result in cancellation with loss of all payments. Changes to agreed conditions (participants, routes, dates, etc.) may result in cancellation and loss of payments.
4.2 Participants must provide personal details (ID, clothing size, shoe size, etc.) via the online form.
4.3 In case of cancellation, section 3.5 penalties apply to the remaining balance.
4.4 Minors must provide parental authorization and ID copy.
4.5 Mirando al Sur S.L. collaborates with the PirineoSur Ski and Mountaineering Club for guiding certain international activities. The trip organization corresponds to Mirando al Sur S.L., and guiding may be provided by the club. Clients accept becoming members of the club when required (membership included in the price).
4.6 Payment using vouchers or gift cards must be communicated at the time of booking.
4.7 Any modification less than 7 days in advance results in loss of the voucher.
4.8 If the activity cannot take place due to external factors (weather, lack of snow, etc.), no refund will be issued. An alternative date or similar activity will be offered. Snowshoeing, via ferrata, or climbing may be replaced with hiking unless otherwise agreed.
4.9 The client is responsible for provided equipment and must cover replacement costs in case of loss or damage, based on market price (e.g., www.barrabes.com).
6.1 All participants are covered by accident insurance contracted by Mirando al Sur S.L., which also holds liability insurance and official complaint forms.
7.1 Mountain activities are subject to change due to weather or participants’ physical and technical conditions. Routes may be modified or canceled at the guide’s discretion.
7.2 The guide may adapt the activity based on forecasts from AEMET or other meteorological services.
7.3 If an activity has started and must be canceled for these reasons, no refund will be issued. Activities officially begin when the guide arrives at the meeting point.
7.4 If the assigned guide cannot lead the activity due to force majeure and no replacement is available, or conditions are unsuitable, the activity will be postponed. For multi-day activities, once started, no refund will be given.
8.1 All activities are led by qualified mountain guides.
8.2 The guide is responsible for decision-making to ensure safety and proper execution.
8.3 Participants must follow the guide’s instructions. Failure to do so releases both the guide and company from liability and may result in expulsion without refund.
9.1 Mirando al Sur S.L. and/or the guide reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone lacking the required physical, mental, or technical conditions or necessary equipment.
9.2 Participants without the required equipment will not be allowed to participate.
9.3 These cases result in loss of all rights and payments.
9.4 Waiting time: guides will wait 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. After that, the activity may be canceled.
9.5 If the client significantly alters agreed conditions (participants, routes, dates), the company may cancel the activity with loss of all payments.
10.1 Participants may choose whether to authorize the use of images taken during activities for marketing purposes.
10.2 By booking, clients consent to their data being processed by Mirando al Sur S.L. in accordance with Spanish Data Protection Law (Organic Law 15/1999). They may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection via email.
