Guided multi-pitch ice climbing in the Pyrenees

Climb a frozen waterfall from bottom to top with a high mountain guide in the Spanish Pyrenees. This outing is for people with previous ice climbing experience who want to tackle a multi-pitch route.

Practise movement with ice axes and crampons, belaying, stance organisation and rope-team management. The guide chooses a suitable waterfall in the Tena or Aragón valley areas according to your experience and conditions, with routes up to WI4.

Outings run from December to March for 1 to 2 people. Consult the equipment list and included services, then contact PirineoSur to arrange a date and meeting point in Jaca.

Previous ice-climbing experience is required. Contact our office so that we can discuss your level, the climbing areas and current conditions, and recommend a route suited to your experience and objectives.
