Learn to place your own climbing protection in the Pyrenees. This PirineoSur course develops anchor selection, placement and assessment in areas such as Ansó, the Midi d’Ossau or the Aspe Valley.
The course is for experienced climbers. It combines route-reading, movement on cracks and steeper ground, equipment organisation, belaying and leading. Descents and techniques for solving problems on the wall are also covered.
Two days of practice and feedback are offered from May to October for 1 to 2 people, at an intermediate to high level. Read the prerequisites and equipment list, then arrange your meeting with PirineoSur in Jaca.
