Link ridges and three-thousand-metre summits around Espadas–Posets, Jean Arlaud, Gourgs Blancs, Clarabide and Gías over four days with a guide. The programme is prepared around your experience, with up to nineteen summits as the published objective. Stages, access and overnight stays are discussed before booking: prepare for long mountain days and cumulative descent, as well as the equipment you will carry.
Alongside the Espadas–Posets area, the programme lists the following summits and elevations. The link-up and daily distribution are agreed with the guide; completing all nineteen summits is not promised regardless of conditions.
Physical demands come from long days and accumulated ascent and descent, particularly downhill. Previous ascents and familiarity with the boots and backpack you will use are recommended. Discuss your experience and any difficulty with exposure so the guide can assess the preparation needed.
The four days are prepared with you before booking. Specific information includes Espadas–Posets and the Jean Arlaud, Gourgs Blancs, Torre Armengaud, Lourde-Rocheblave, Camboué, Saint-Saud, Clarabide and Gías summits. Discuss stage divisions, nights and access rather than assuming a fixed daily itinerary.
Confirm the itinerary and timings for your booking with the office. Durations are indicative and should be considered alongside your experience, the group’s pace and route conditions.
Four guide days, accommodation arrangements, shared equipment and requested technical equipment are included. Your accommodation and meals, travel to the meeting and the guide’s accommodation and meals are excluded. The published extra-expense estimate is €100 per person; confirm it when preparing the programme.
Give your dates, group size, recent ascents and experience on the terrain involved. The team will confirm the programme, timings and equipment before booking. Ask PirineoSur about availability.
It combines Espadas–Posets with Jean Arlaud, Gourgs Blancs, Torre Armengaud, Lourde-Rocheblave, Camboué, Saint-Saud, Clarabide and Gías. The guide confirms how they fit into the itinerary.
The four days are prepared with you. Summit order, access and nights are confirmed according to experience and conditions, using the published objective of up to nineteen three-thousand-metre peaks as the reference.
Describe recent ascents and ridges, your stamina for long days and your comfort with exposure. The listed level is high, and cumulative elevation change, especially on descents, is part of the effort.
Four days of guiding, accommodation arrangements, collective equipment and requested technical equipment are included. Prepare your personal kit and agree any loan requirements.
Personal accommodation and meals are excluded, as are travel to the meeting point and the guide’s accommodation and meals. Confirm the published additional estimate of €100 per person when preparing the programme.
June to September, for one or two people. Give dates and everyone’s experience to prepare the four days and practical arrangements.
Read all the programme details and contact us if you are unsure whether your experience matches the route. The main challenge is sustained effort and accumulated ascent and descent, particularly on the way down. Altitude can increase fatigue, while wind and low temperatures add to the difficulty.
Previous mountain walking and summit experience are recommended. If you are new to this type of outing, the guide can assess your level or suggest a preparatory ascent.
Prepare with endurance exercise and mountain walks, carrying a loaded backpack and using the footwear and equipment you will take on the trip. Break in new boots beforehand. The route does not require technical rock-climbing skills, but you must be comfortable with heights and exposed passages.
The programme proposes four mountain days with the aim of linking summits above 3,000 metres in the Espadas–Posets, Jean Arlaud, Gourgs Blancs, Clarabide and Gías sectors. The objective is to link up to nineteen three-thousand-metre peaks.
This is a high-level activity for one or two participants. The route links summits and ridges and requires the endurance to sustain several days of ascent and descent.
Before booking, we will discuss the detailed route and your experience to prepare the four days. Read the required level, equipment and included services as well.
