Korzhenevskaya and Communism Peak expedition 2028

Plan a high-altitude expedition to Tajikistan in July and August 2028. Choose Korzhenevskaya, 7,105 m, in twenty-one days, or both Korzhenevskaya and Communism Peak–Ismoil Somoni, 7,495 m, in thirty-five days. These durations include travel from Spain and the return journey.

The expedition is led by Mariano Frutos Garaeta, with six previous Pamir expeditions, and organised by Mirando al Sur–PirineoSur. Both options share access to Moskvin base camp, acclimatisation rotations and the first summit.

After Korzhenevskaya, the longer programme continues towards Communism Peak following recovery. Daily plans and helicopter flights depend on conditions and operational availability.

Participants must be independent mountaineers with previous experience above 6,000 metres, able to travel on glacier, snow and ice and help organise the camps. Expedition leadership is not an individual guiding service.

For a minimum group of six, the double expedition has an indicative price of €4,750 per person, subject to updating for the season specified when booking.
