Guided snowshoeing in the Spanish Pyrenees

Explore the snowy landscapes of the Tena and Aragón valleys on a half-day snowshoe walk. The Somport and Portalet areas offer routes for a first snowshoeing experience.

No previous snowshoeing experience is required. Your guide explains the equipment and basic movements, then adapts the route and pace to the group and snow conditions. Families, couples and groups of friends can discover the winter mountains together.

Outings run from December to May for 2 to 10 people. Snowshoes and poles are provided as listed in the included services. Check the clothing and personal equipment list and confirm meeting arrangements with PirineoSur.

No previous experience is needed. This outing is for anyone keen to discover snowshoeing, the winter environment and the properties of snow while enjoying an outdoor adventure. Contact us if you have any questions about the right level for you.

This activity takes place in snowy mountain terrain, so the following basic equipment is required.
Mountain boots.
Warm hat, sunglasses and gloves.
Sunscreen.
Cold-weather clothing: mountain weather can change quickly.
Small daypack.
