For families with children aged 6–11. No previous experience is required and the physical effort is low. Children should be able to swim, or at least feel comfortable in the water.

The programme combines introductory adventure activities: small abseils, jumps and natural slides in the canyons; animal observation and zip lines in the parks; and easy climbing and via ferrata on the final day to develop balance and confidence.

The guide adapts the pace to the youngest participants, with frequent stops so that the whole family can enjoy the day together.

Equipment needed

• Comfortable sports clothing for the mountain walk to the canyon entrance.
• A bag to leave in the car with spare clothes in case yours get wet, a water bottle and food.
• Footwear is important: lace-up shoes with rubber soles and good ankle support, such as canyoning shoes, sports shoes or hiking shoes. Bring a spare pair to change into when you return to the car.
• Swimwear, towel and warm, dry clothes for after the canyon.
• If you wear glasses or contact lenses, bring a suitable way to prevent losing them during the activity.

Day 1: Canyoning, with equipment distribution, access to the canyon, jumps, natural slides and an abseil.

Day 2: Rafting on the Gállego River, with views of the Mallos de Riglos.

Day 3: An easy cave visit or a walk around the Astún lakes, offering a different and accessible activity that children particularly enjoy.

Day 4: A via ferrata graded K2 or K3.

We pass on current techniques and our enthusiasm for the mountains. You will meet people with similar interests, and in your free time you can explore Jaca’s sights, shops and tapas bars.
