Snowshoe day to a mountain lake in the Tena Valley

Spend a day snowshoeing towards a mountain lake in the Tena Valley. Discover winter landscapes on a route chosen according to conditions.

No previous snowshoeing experience is required, but regular aerobic exercise is necessary. The guide explains equipment use and adapts the pace to the group.

Choose your snowshoe route

Suggested destinations include the Anayet lakes, Astún lakes, Estanés lake, Ordicuso lakes, Piedrafita lake and the O Forato circuit. Other itineraries can be arranged for a minimum group of two people.

These technically straightforward snowshoe outings visit emblematic Pyrenean lakes and landscapes. As full-day mountain activities, they require some endurance. The guide explains movement techniques and manages the route according to the group and mountain conditions.

Avalanche awareness is essential: participants are equipped with an avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel and are shown how to use them before the outing.
